General FAQ

1. Question: Are there any discounts available? 

Answer: Yes, the following two discounts are available, and they can be combined for each eligible camper. 

  • $30 EARLY REGISTRATION: Register by April 14. Online registration must be made on or before 4/14/10, or envelope with registration form/check MUST BE postmarked by 4/14/10. Applies to EACH camp for which participant registers.

  • $25 RETURNING CAMPER: Applies to camper who has attended any previous Jesse Hubbard Lacrosse Experience session. If RETURNING camper registers for more than one 2010 camp, this discount applies to EACH camp. If NEW camper registers for more than one 2010 camp, this discount applies toward only ONE camp

2. What is the refund/cancellation policy?
Answer: In the event of cancellation prior to June 2, 2010, any tuition paid will be refunded minus the $200 non-refundable deposit. Any cancellation after June 2, 2010 will result in a credit equal to the tuition paid (minus the $200 non-refundable deposit), which can be applied by the same camper toward a future Jesse Hubbard Lacrosse Experience Camp, either in 2010 or 2011.

3. How will I know if my registration was received/processed?
Answer: You will receive an confirmation email within 7 days of registering. It will indicate your payment and balance due.

4. How do I pay off my deposit?
Answer: If you register online, you can sign into your account and pay off the balance. If your balance is not paid by the June 2, 2010 balance due date, we will automatically process payment with the payment method set up by you within your account. If you would like to cancel your registration, please notify us before the balance due date or else your balance payment will be processed and the refund/cancellation policy will apply. If you register by mail, we will notify you by email before the balance due date that a payment is due.

5. Will I be advised what to bring to camp, when to check in, and when to check out once I am registered?
Answer: A few weeks before the beginning of camp, we will send you an email with information to help you prepare for camp.

6. What is the camper to counselor ratio?
Answer: With an 8:1 camper to counselor ratio each camper will receive individual instruction and attention, ensuring that his experience is personalized and rewarding. Staff members will provide not only excellent lacrosse instruction, but also attentive supervision throughout the duration of camp. Safety is our number one priority.

7. What freebies will campers receive?
Answer: Every camper will receive a camp jersey, t-shirt, a 1-year subscription to Inside Lacrosse Magazine, a camp raffle ticket, and a personalized evaluation form prepared by Jesse Hubbard with tips and training advice on how to continue to improve your game.

Overnight Camp FAQ

1. Question: Will Jesse Hubbard and the entire staff stay in dorms with the campers?

Answer: Yes. Jesse, the co-director, the Certified Athletic Trainer(s), and the coaching staff will stay in the dorms and will provide supervision throughout the day and night.

2. Question: When is camp check-in for the overnight camp at Episcopal?

Answer: The camp check-in window is from 11am to 1pm on Sunday. (Extended day campers should arrive at 12:30 pm.)

3. Question: When is camp check-out for the overnight camp at Episcopal?

Answer: Check-out will be from 4 to 5pm on Wednesday.

4. Question: Will there be a camp store?

Answer: Yes, there will be a camp store selling snacks, refreshments, and pizza. Cash only.

5. Question: Where should a camper fly into from out of town for the overnight camp at Episcopal?

Answer: Reagan National Airport (DCA) is a quick 5 minutes away from Episcopal and would be the best option. Dulles Airport (IAD) is approximately 40 minutes from Episcopal and BWI is approximately one hour from Episcopal. Airport shuttle/taxi’s should be arranged by the camper.
